Indications:
Spleen and Stomach deficiency with food stagnation, presenting with poor appetite or aversion to food, nausea, difficulty digesting food, indigestion, epigastric and abdominal bloating and distention, borborygmus, acid reflux, bad breath, belching, malodorous gas and stool, loose stool or diarrhea, fatigue. Symptoms may be exacerbated by eating and may be accompanied by other Spleen deficiency signs such as listlessness, poor concentration, pale complexion, low and soft voice, weakness and heaviness of the limbs. Tongue: pale, possibly swollen, thick greasy coat Pulse: thin, weak, slippery, wiry

Plum Flower Chinese Herbal Formula
 
Dosage:
Standard Dosage: 6-8 pills, 3 x day.
Clinical Dosage: Administer half an hour before or one hour after eating. In severe cases or in the initial phases of treatment, dosage may be increased to 8-12 pills 3 times per day, then reduced to a maintenance dose as the treatment takes effect. May be used long-term for several weeks to several months. May be used over the course of several years.

Atractylodes macrocephala rhizome, Citrus aurantium fruit-immature, Codonopsis pilosula root, Citrus reticulata peel, Hordeum vulgare fruit, Crataegus pinnatifida fruit, Botanical wax, Talcum. - Bai zhu, Zhi shi, Dang shen, Chen pi, Mai ya, Shan zha, Botanical wax, Talcum.
 
Contraindications:
Contraindicated for Spleen deficiency without signs of food stagnation. Use with caution in breast-feeding women as Mai Ya/barley sprout may reduce the production of breast milk in some cases. Contains gluten.
