Plum Flower Chinese Herbal Formula
Dosage:
Standard Dosage: 8 pills, 3 x day.
Clinical Dosage: Administer half an hour before or one hour after eating. In severe cases or in the initial phases of treatment, dosage may be increased to 8-12 pills 3 times per day, then reduced to a maintenance dose as the treatment takes effect. May be used medium-term for a few weeks to a few months. If administered alone for acute symptoms, it is usually taken for a period of weeks. It also may be administered along with an appropriate constitutional formula for a few months, to treat chronic build-up of damp heat. This is a cold and bitter formula, and can easily damage the Spleen and Stomach Qi.

Contraindications:
Contraindicated for conditions due to deficiency. Use with caution in Spleen deficient patients with a tendency to loose stools, diarrhea, poor appetite or chronic digestive weakness.
