Indications:
Cloudy-painful urinary dysfunction (Gao Lin) due to accumulation of dampness in the lower jiao stemming from cold due to Kidney Qi or Yang deficiency. Presenting with frequent urination with cloudy, white, milky or greasy urine. May be accompanied by urinary difficulties including discomfort, pain or nocturia. May also present with persistent, thick, white or mucoid vaginal discharge, pain in the perineum, distention or pain in the lower abdomen, low back ache. Plum Flower Chinese Herbal Formula
Dosage:
Standard Dosage: 8 pills, 3 x day.
Clinical Dosage: Administer half an hour before or one hour after eating. In severe cases or in the initial phases of treatment, dosage may be increased to 8-12 pills 3 times per day, then reduced to a maintenance dose as the treatment takes effect. May be used medium-term for a few weeks to a few months. If administered alone for acute symptoms, it is usually taken for a period of weeks. It may also be administered with an appropriate constitutional formula for a few months, to treat chronic build-up of cold damp in the lower jiao.

Ingredients:
Alpinia oxyphylla fruit, Poria cocos fungus, Dioscorea hypoglauca rhizome, Lysimachia christinae herb, Lindera aggregata root, Glycyrrhiza uralensis root. - Yi zhi ren, Fu ling, Bi xie, Jin qian cao, Wu yao, Gan cao.
Contraindications:
Not suitable for acute urinary tract infections. Contraindicated for conditions due to damp-heat.
