Indications:
Blood and phlegm stagnation in lower jiao presenting with immobile lower abdominal masses accompanied by pain that increases with pressure, abdominal tenderness or spasms, difficult menstruation, slow starting, scanty or infrequent menstruation with abdominal distention and pain, menstrual pain and cramping, excessive menstrual bleeding, continuous spotting of purple or dark blood, retention of the lochia, masses in the testicles or prostate with pain referring to the lower abdomen. Plum Flower Chinese Herbal Formula
Dosage:
Standard Dosage: 8 pills, 3 x day.
Clinical Dosage: Administer half an hour before or one hour after eating. In severe cases or in the initial phases of treatment, dosage may be increased to 8-12 pills 3 times per day, then reduced to a maintenance dose as the treatment takes effect. May be used long-term for several weeks to several months. May be used over the course of several years. May be combined with appropriate constitutional formula to address underlying causes of stagnation.
