Indications:
Cold invasion of the channels causing stagnation of Blood and obstruction of the free flow of Qi in the channels accompanied by underlying Blood deficiency. Presenting with a chronic sensation of very cold hands and feet that are cold upon palpation, pain and cramping in the limbs, painful extremities, painful joints, pain in low back and legs, irregular menstruation, abdominal pain, cold sensation in the abdomen. Symptoms may be exacerbated by exposure to cold and relieved with application of heat. Tongue: pale with a white coat Pulse: thin, thready, deep, submerged.

Plum Flower Chinese Herbal Formula
Dosage:
Standard Dosage: 8 pills, 3 x day.
Clinical Dosage: Administer half an hour before or one hour after eating. In severe cases or in the initial phases of treatment, dosage may be increased to 8-12 pills 3 times per day, then reduced to a maintenance dose as the treatment takes effect. May be used medium-term for a few weeks to a few months. If administered alone for acute symptoms, it is usually taken for a period of weeks. Once the acute cold symptoms of this condition are resolved, this formula should be discontinued and long-term treatment be continued with an appropriate constitutional formula.

Angelica sinensis root, Paeonia lactiflora root, Cinnamomum cassia twig, Glycyrrhiza uralensis root-prep, Akebia trifoliata stem, Ziziphus jujuba fruit. - Dang gui, Bai shao, Gui zhi, Zhi gan cao, Mu tong, Da zao.
Contraindications:
Contraindicated during pregnancy. Contraindicated for Yin deficiency with deficiency heat. Use with caution in the spring and summer, during periods of hot weather, or in warm climates.
