Indications:
Heart and Kidney Yin deficiency with Blood deficiency and Shen disturbance, also known as Heart and Kidney not communicating. Presenting with insomnia, restless sleep, frequent waking, excessive and vivid dreaming, waking with anxiety, restlessness, irritability, anxiety, palpitations, fatigue, poor memory, forgetfulness, poor concentration with inability to concentrate for even short periods of time, night sweats, five palms heat, nocturnal emissions, dry skin and hair, constipation or dry stools, mouth or tongue sores, chronic throat pain that is worse in the afternoon, evening or when fatigued, low grade fever. Plum Flower Chinese Herbal Formula
Dosage:
Standard Dosage: 8 pills, 3 x day.
Clinical Dosage: Administer half an hour before or one hour after eating. In severe cases or in the initial phases of treatment, dosage may be increased to 8-12 pills 3 times per day, then reduced to a maintenance dose as the treatment takes effect. For insomnia 8-16 pills may be administered before bed. May be used long-term for several weeks to several months. May be used over the course of several years.

Contraindications:
Contraindicated for Spleen deficient patients with loose stools, diarrhea, poor appetite or chronic digestive weakness. Contraindicated during the early stages of acute illness such as cold and flu, or during an acute infection.
