Description:
Plum Flower Chinese Herbal Formula
Dosage:
Standard Dosage: 8 pills, 3 x day.
Clinical Dosage: Administer half an hour before or one hour after eating. In acute or severe disorders, dosage may be increased to 8-12 pills every 2-4 hours, then reduced to a maintenance dose as the treatment takes effect. May be used short to medium-term for a few weeks to a month. Once the acute symptoms of this condition are resolved, this formula should be discontinued, or combined short-term with an appropriate constitutional formula. For severe Spleen or Kidney deficiency use only for a few days in conjunction with an appropriate tonic.

Poria cocos fungus, Alisma orientalis rhizome, Morus alba root-bark, Zingiber officinale rhizome-fresh, Dolichos lablab seed, Citrus reticulata peel. - Fu ling, Ze xie, Sang bai pi, Sheng jiang, Bai bian dou, Chen pi.
Contraindications:
Use with caution in Yin deficiency. Use in conjunction with Spleen tonics for severe Spleen Qi deficiency. Overuse of diuretics can harm the Yin and Qi, so prolonged use is not recommended.
