Lung, Stomach and Kidney Qi and Yin deficiency causing wasting and thirsting disorder, presenting with excessive thirst, dry mouth and throat, dry cough, dry, lusterless skin, hair and eyes, frequent and copious urination, low back pain, voracious appetite, red face and lips, malar flush, afternoon fever, five palms heat, fatigue, weight loss. Tongue: red, dry with cracks, scanty or no coat Pulse: deficient, thin, weak, rapid

Plum Flower Chinese Herbal Formula
 
Dosage:
Standard Dosage: 8 pills, 3 x day.
Clinical Dosage: Administer half an hour before or one hour after eating. In severe cases or in the initial phases of treatment, dosage may be increased to 8-12 pills 3 times per day, then reduced to a maintenance dose as the treatment takes effect. May be used long-term for several weeks to several months. May be used over the course of several years.

Ingredients:
Trichosanthes kirilowii root, Pueraria lobata root, Codonopsis pilosula root, Astragalus membranaceus root, Poria cocos fungus, Rehmannia glutinosa root-raw, Ophiopogon japonicus tuber, Prunus mume fruit, Schisandra chinensis fruit, Glycyrrhiza uralensis root. - Tian hua fen, Ge gen, Dang shen, Huang qi, Fu ling, Sheng di huang, Mai men dong, Wu mei, Wu wei zi, Gan cao.
 
Contraindications:
Contraindicated during pregnancy. Contraindicated during the early stages of acute illness such as cold and flu, or during an acute infection.
