Indications:

Description:
Plum Flower Chinese Herbal Formula
Dosage:
Standard Dosage: 8 pills, 3 x day.
Clinical Dosage: Administer half an hour before or one hour after eating. In acute or severe disorders, dosage may be increased to 8-12 pills every 2-4 hours, then reduced to a maintenance dose as the treatment takes effect. May be used short to medium-term for a few weeks to a month. Once the acute symptoms of this condition are resolved, this formula should be discontinued, or combined with an appropriate constitutional formula for long-term treatment.

Lindera strychnifolia root, Foeniculum vulgare fruit, Alpinia officinarum rhizome, Aucklandia lappa root, Citrus reticulata peel-immature, Melia toosendan fruit, Areca catechu seed, Evodia rutaecarpa fruit. - Wu yao, Xiao hui xiang, Gao liang jiang, Mu xiang, Qing pi, Chuan lian zi, Bing lang, Wu zhu yu.
Contraindications:
Contraindicated for conditions due to Yin deficiency. Use with caution in patients with elevated liver enzymes as Chuan lian zi/melia, may occasionally cause irritation of the liver and an elevation of ALT/AST levels. Use with caution during pregnancy.
