Indications:
Stagnation of phlegm, heat and Blood associated with benign masses, nodules and lumps. Presenting with masses that may be painless or tender, superficial or deep, rubbery and well defined, firm, tender and irregular, or red and swollen. Particularly indicated for swelling and masses in the neck, but may assist in softening and dispersing masses anywhere in the body. Tongue: greasy coat Pulse: rapid, slippery, wiry

Description:
Plum Flower Chinese Herbal Formula
 
Dosage:
Standard Dosage: 8 pills, 3 x day.
Clinical Dosage: Administer half an hour before or one hour after eating. In severe cases or in the initial phases of treatment, dosage may be increased to 8-12 pills 3 times per day, then reduced to a maintenance dose as the treatment takes effect. May be used medium to long-term, for several weeks to several months. It is often administered along with a constitutional formula for a few months to treat chronic build-up of phlegm nodules. Monitor for signs of Spleen Qi deficiency.

Prunella vulgaris spike, Scrophularia ningpoensis root, Halitum mineral, Angelica sinensis root, Mentha haplocalyx herb, Citrus aurantium fruit-ripe, Rheum palmatum root, Platycodon grandiflorum root, Forsythia suspensa fruit, Sargassum pallidum herb, Fritillaria thunbergii bulb, Trichosanthes kirilowii root, Glycyrrhiza uralensis root, Rehmannia glutinosa root-prep, Ampelopsis japonica root, Meretrix meretrix shell, Mirabilitum mineral. - Xia ku cao, Xuan shen, Da qing yan, Dang gui, Bo he, Zhi ke, Da huang, Jie geng, Lian qiao, Hai zao, Zhe bei mu, Tian hua fen, Gan cao, Shu di huang, Bai lian, Ge ke, Xuan ming fen.
 
Contraindications:
Contraindicated during pregnancy and menstruation. Contraindicated for nodules or congealing due to cold. Contraindicated for Spleen deficient patients with loose stools, diarrhea, poor appetite or chronic digestive weakness. Contraindicated for very weak or deficient patients. Use with caution in breast-feeding women as Da huang/rhubarb can pass through the breast milk causing colic and diarrhea in infants. May cause mild abdominal cramping in sensitive patients.
