Indications:
Qi and Blood stagnation obstructing the channels and collaterals presenting with pain in various locations throughout the body. The pain is sharp, cramping or piercing, fixed in location, worse with pressure. Presentation includes pain in the heart, chest, abdomen, intercostal region, back, joints, or extremities, fixed abdominal masses, traumatic injury with bruising, swelling and pain, internal or external ulcerations, chronic non-healing sores, purple discoloration or broken blood vessels on the skin. Plum Flower Chinese Herbal Formula
Dosage:
Standard Dosage: 8 pills, 3 x day.
Clinical Dosage: Administer half an hour before or one hour after eating. In severe cases or in the initial phases of treatment, dosage may be increased to 8-12 pills 3 times per day, then reduced to a maintenance dose as the treatment takes effect. May be used medium-term for a few weeks to a few months. It is often administered along with a constitutional formula for several months.

Angelica sinensis root, Salvia miltiorrhiza root, Boswellia carterii resin, Commiphora myrrha resin. - Dang gui, Dan shen, Ru xiang, Mo yao.
Contraindications:
Contraindicated for very weak or deficient patients. Contraindicated during pregnancy, or with hemorrhagic disorders. Use with caution during heavy menstrual bleeding. Use with caution in patients on anti-coagulant therapy.
