Indications:
Damp-heat in lower jiao presenting with skin lesions that are red, raised, itchy or weeping, particularly on the lower limbs or genitals, chronic ulcers or slow healing oozing wounds, vaginal discharge that is copious, thick white or yellow and/or malodorous, vaginal itching with redness and burning, genital or anal pain, difficult urination that is scanty or frequent, dark or cloudy, burning or painful. Plum Flower Chinese Herbal Formula
Dosage:
Standard Dosage: 8 pills, 3 x day.
Clinical Dosage: Administer half an hour before or one hour after eating. In severe cases or in the initial phases of treatment, dosage may be increased to 8-12 pills 3 times per day, then reduced to a maintenance dose as the treatment takes effect. May be used medium-term for a few weeks to a few months. If administered alone for acute symptoms, it is usually taken at high dose only up to a couple weeks. It may be administered along with a constitutional formula for a few months to treat chronic build-up of damp-heat. Use in conjunction with Spleen tonics for marked Spleen Qi deficiency.

Coix lachryma jobi seed, Poria cocos fungus, Dioscorea hypoglauca rhizome, Dictamnus dasycarpus root-bark, Tetrapanax papyriferus pith, Phellodendron amurense bark, Alisma plantago aquatica rhizome, Paeonia suffruticosa root-bark, Gardenia jasminoides fruit. - Yi yi ren, Fu ling, Bi xie, Bai xian pi, Tong cao, Huang bai, Ze xie, Mu dan pi, Zhi zi.
Contraindications:
Contraindicated during pregnancy. Use with caution in Spleen deficient patients with a tendency to loose stools, diarrhea, poor appetite or chronic digestive weakness. Use with caution in Yin deficiency.
