Plum Flower Chinese Herbal Formula
Dosage:
Standard Dosage: 3 tablets, 3 x day.
Clinical Dosage: Administer half an hour before or one hour after eating. In acute or severe disorders, dosage may be increased to 3-5 tablets every 2-4 hours, then reduced to a maintenance dose as the treatment takes effect. May be used short-term for few days to a few weeks. Once the acute symptoms are resolved, this formula should be discontinued and replaced with a milder formula. This small potent formula may be combined with other formulas whenever heat toxin clearing is desired. Monitor for signs of cold, such as epigastric pain or indigestion, as this cold and bitter formula can easily damage the Spleen and Stomach Qi.

Ingredients:
Andrographis paniculata herb, Taraxacum mongolicum herb, Isatis indigotica root. - Chuan xin lian, Pu gong ying, Ban lan gen.
Contraindications:
Use with caution in Spleen deficient patients with a tendency to loose stools, diarrhea, poor appetite or chronic digestive weakness. Use with caution in hemorrhagic disorders or with patients on anti-coagulant therapy.
