Indications:
Kidney deficiency with Liver Yang rising, possibly complicated by internal Liver wind and/or dampness. Presenting with high blood pressure, headache, pressure behind the eyes, stiffness and pain in the neck and shoulders, dizziness, vertigo, irritability, frustration, easily angered, uneasiness, insomnia, palpitations, pale or red complexion, tinnitus, low back pain, frequent urination. May be accompanied by edema, numbness of the extremities, twitching, tremors or spasms. Tongue: pale if Kidney Yang deficiency predominates, red if heat predominates, deviated and shaking if Liver wind predominates, with a thick coat if excess dampness or edema is present Pulse: wiry

Description:
Plum Flower Chinese Herbal Formula
Dosage:
Standard Dosage: 5 tablets, 3 x day.
Clinical Dosage: Administer half an hour before or one hour after eating. In acute or severe disorders, dosage may be increased to 5-8 tablets 3 times per day, then reduced to a maintenance dose as the treatment takes effect. May be used long-term for several weeks to several months. May be used safely over the course of several years. It is often administered along with a constitutional formula. Monitor for signs of heat or Spleen Qi deficiency.

Ingredients:
Eucommia ulmoides bark, Uncaria rhynchophylla vine, Prunella vulgaris spike, Scutellaria baicalensis root. - Du zhong, Gou teng, Xia ku cao, Huang qin.
Contraindications:
Use with caution in Spleen deficient patients with a tendency to loose stools, diarrhea, poor appetite or chronic digestive weakness.
