Indications:
Wind heat or mild wind cold invasion presenting with fever and mild chills, scratchy or sore throat, sudden fatigue, swollen lymph glands, thirst, soreness in the neck and shoulders, generalized body aches, headache, nasal congestion, cough with white or yellow mucus. Tongue: normal. May have a red tip, or a thin yellow coat. Pulse: floating. May be rapid or tight, depending on whether the external invasion is due to wind heat or wind cold.

Plum Flower Chinese Herbal Formula
Dosage:
Standard Dosage: 3-6 tablets, 3 x day.
Clinical Dosage: Administer half an hour before or one hour after eating. In the acute stages of illness, adult dosage may be increased to 4 tablets every 2-4 hours, then reduced to a maintenance dose as the treatment takes effect. May be used short-term for few days to a few weeks. Although Gan Mao Ling is most effective when taken at the early stages of a cold or flu, it can be taken all the way through a cold to speed recovery. The immune-enhancing quality of San cha ku also makes Gan Mao Ling a very good choice for cold and flu prevention at 4 tablets twice a day.

Contraindications:
