Indications:
Liver Yang and/or Liver fire rising and internal wind with underlying Liver and Kidney Yin deficiency. Presenting with high blood pressure, distending headaches at the temples, behind the eyes, or top of the head, stiffness and pain in the neck and shoulders, dizziness, vertigo, tinnitus, hearing loss, blurred vision, visual disturbances, red complexion, facial and neck flushing, a sensation of heat rushing to the head, irritability, frustration, easily angered, tendency to feel warm and restless, uneasiness, insomnia, restless sleep, dream-disturbed sleep, thirsty for cold drinks, dark or concentrated urine, constipation. In severe cases there may be temporary facial or limb paralysis, numbness of the extremities, diminished visual field, abnormal sensations in the face or limbs, twitching, tremors or spasms. Tongue: red, yellow coat, possibly stiff or trembling Pulse: rapid, wiry, bounding

Description:
Plum Flower Chinese Herbal Formula
 
Dosage:
Standard Dosage: 6 tablets, 2 x day.
Clinical Dosage: Administer half an hour before or one hour after eating. In severe cases or in the initial phases of treatment, dosage may be increased to 6-9 tablets 2 times per day, then reduced to a maintenance dose as the treatment takes effect. May be used medium-term for a few weeks to a few months. Monitor for signs of Spleen Qi deficiency.

Ingredients:
Leonurus japonicus fruit, Achyranthes bidentata root, Rehmannia glutinosa root-raw, Equus asinus gelatin, Angelica sinensis root, Uncaria rhynchophylla twig & thorn, Aquilaria sinensis wood, Ligusticum chuanxiong rhizome, Prunella vulgaris spike, Paeonia suffruticosa root-bark, Gastrodia elata rhizome, Rheum palmatum root & rhizome, Coptis chinensis rhizome, Bubalus bubalis horn, Succinum resin. - Chong wei zi, Huai niu xi, Sheng di huang, E jiao, Dang gui, Gou teng, Tu chen xiang, Chuan xiong, Xia ku cao, Mu dan pi, Tian ma, Da huang, Huang lian, Shui niu jiao, Hu po.
 
Contraindications:
Contraindicated during pregnancy and menstruation, or with hemorrhagic disorders. Contraindicated for very weak or deficient patients. Use with caution in breast-feeding women as Da huang/rhubarb can pass through the breast milk causing colic and diarrhea in infants. Use with caution in Spleen deficient patients with a tendency to loose stools, diarrhea, poor appetite or chronic digestive weakness. Use with caution in patients on anti-coagulant therapy. May cause mild abdominal cramping in sensitive patients. Contains gluten & soy.
