Indications:
Wind damp Bi pain (painful obstruction syndrome) and Blood stagnation obstructing the channels and collaterals. Presenting with a wide variety of pain syndromes including muscle and joint pain, low back pain, rheumatism, headache, toothache, post-partum abdominal pain, menstrual pain, acute or chronic pain and swelling due to traumatic injury, including fractured bones. Description:
Plum Flower Chinese Herbal Formula
Dosage:
Standard Dosage: 2-3 tablets, 3 x day.
Clinical Dosage: Administer half an hour before or one hour after eating. For treatment of severe or acute pain dosage may be increased to 2-3 tablets every 2 hours, then reduced to a maintenance dose as the treatment takes effect. May be used medium-term for a few weeks to a few months. This herb is useful for short-term treatment and may also be used for the treatment of chronic or long-term pain conditions. Once the acute pain is resolved, this formula may be combined as needed with an appropriate constitutional formula.

Contraindications:
Contraindicated during pregnancy, or with hemorrhagic disorders. Use with caution during heavy menstrual bleeding. Use with caution in patients on anti-coagulant therapy.
