Indications:
Liver and Kidney Yin deficiency with deficiency fire, Liver wind and Liver Yang rising. Presenting with enlarged pupils, blurring of vision, loss of visual acuity, sensitivity to light, night blindness, red, dry, irritated or swollen eyes, excessive tearing, floaters, dizziness, vertigo, pressure or pain behind the eyes, recurrent headaches or migraines. May be accompanied by irritability, fatigue, tinnitus, insomnia, night sweats, afternoon fever, hot flashes, soreness and weakness of the lower back and legs, with symptoms that are worse with exertion and at night. Dosage:
Standard Dosage: 10 pills, 2 x day.
Clinical Dosage: Administer half an hour before or one hour after eating. In severe cases or in the initial phases of treatment, dosage may be increased to 10-15 pills 2 times per day, then reduced to a maintenance dose as the treatment takes effect. May be used long-term for several weeks to several months. May be used over the course of several years.

Contraindications:
Contraindicated during pregnancy, or with hemorrhagic disorders. Contraindicated during the early stages of acute illness such as cold and flu, or during an acute infection. Use with caution in Spleen deficient patients with a tendency to loose stools, diarrhea, poor appetite or chronic digestive weakness. Use with caution in patients on anti-coagulant therapy.
