Indications:
Yuan-source Qi deficiency presenting with fatigue, breathlessness, cold extremities or weakness following excessive blood loss, loss of fluids due to severe vomiting, diarrhea or profuse sweating, severe or chronic illness. Spleen Qi deficiency with lethargy, digestive weakness, diarrhea, poor appetite, nausea, vomiting, or organ prolapse. Lung Qi deficiency with chronic cough, wheezing, shortness of breath. Qi and Blood deficiency with poor cognitive functioning, confusion, forgetfulness, palpitations. Qi and Yang deficiency for with impotence. Wei-defensive Qi deficiency with lowered immunity, frequent colds or infections and in long-term debility, such as recovery from illness, surgery, childbirth or great emotional shock.

Plum Flower Chinese Herbal Formula
Dosage:
Standard Dosage: 2 capsules daily.
Clinical Dosage: Administer half an hour before or one hour after eating. In acute or severe disorders, dosage may be increased to 2 capsules 3-4 times daily then reduced to a maintenance dose as the treatment takes effect. Suitable for long-term use for several weeks to several months. May be used safely over the course of several years. Contraindications:
Contraindicated for conditions due to Yin deficiency or excess heat. Contraindicated during the early stages of acute illness such as cold and flu, or during an acute infection. Contraindicated with concurrent constipation or intestinal accumulation. Contraindicated for hypertensive patients with ascendant Liver Yang, and in cases of very high blood pressure.
