Description:
Plum Flower Chinese Herbal Formula
Dosage:
Standard Dosage: 8 pills, 3 x day.
Clinical Dosage: Administer half an hour before or one hour after eating. In acute or severe disorders, dosage may be increased to 8-12 pills every 2-4 hours, then reduced to a maintenance dose as the treatment takes effect. May be used short-term for few days to a few weeks. This formula should be used only during the acute phases of wind cold.

Ingredients:
Prunus armeniaca seed, Cinnamomum cassia twig, Ephedra sinica herb, Glycyrrhiza uralensis root-prep. - Xing ren, Gui zhi, Ma huang, Zhi gan cao.
Contraindications:
Contraindicated during pregnancy, or with hemorrhagic disorders. Contraindicated for very weak patients with copious urination. Contraindicated for spontaneous sweating or night sweats. Use with caution in hypertension as Ma huang/ephedra may raise blood pressure in some cases. May aggravate irritability or insomnia in some patients due to presence of Ma Huang/Ephedra. Contains tree nuts.
